Signing up for Kindergarden in Tübingen and its surroundings (last updated: 19.05.2017)

Tübingen has a number of Kindergardens which differ in group sizes, opening hours, and minimum age for kids to be accepted. Some kindergardens have a religious background (i.e. protestant or catholic) which is partially reflected in their daily program. In order to get your kid(s) signed up you need to fill out a form at the central administration which handles the sign-up procedure for all Kindergardens in the Tübingen area. Do this as early as possible as waiting times can be long (i.e. longer than six months).

The criteria for the ordering of the sign-up list (1. urgency for a place, 2. single parents, 3. parents both workging, 4. Siblings) + additional information are found here.
